Oil Painting En Plein Air

Arranged for groups of 4 or more by request

Kathie Wheeler

For all of you who dream of painting beautiful landscapes but can’t seem to

make the time for it in your everyday life, or paint regularly and would like

to paint with a lively group, maybe learn something new—this workshop is

for you!

Kathie begins with a demonstration of her classical approach to landscape

painting “en plein air”, working outside directly in nature. You will learn the

tools and techniques of this exciting art form and have plenty of time to paint. Let the scenic river valleys, roll

rolling hills and beautiful bluffs of this rural community located in the “driftless” region of Southwestern Wisconsin

inspire you. Kathie will provide one-on-one instruction in composition, color, paint application and has lots of tips,

experiences and enthusiasm to share with you about this style of oil painting. All skill-levels welcome.
